About Me

My name is Nick Parker. I am 26 years old and was born in Victoria, BC in 2000. I grew up in Victoria and have lived here my entire life. A few things that I enjoy doing when I’m not swamped with B.Ed. PDP work/assignments are travelling, learning how to play the guitar, hanging out with friends and family, playing sports, and following my favourite sports teams, which include the Seattle Kraken, Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders FC, and University of Washington Huskies football. The grades I am hoping to teach in the future are 9-12, so anything in that high-school range. The subjects I am hoping to teach are anything under that Social Studies umbrella and eventually ELL as well. What I hope to take from this class when it is all said and done are just skills in using different available technological tools that I can eventually pass down to my students one day so they will be able to show their work in different ways other than just writing.
